Great video. I do have a question regarding 'managing stock'. When I make a need to remove items from inventory such as a cash sale.....I do not have a 'SOLD' option in 'select reason'. My only options are STOCK RECEIVED/INVENTORY RE COUNT/DAMAGE/THEFT/LOSS/RESTOCK RETURN. I need a 'SOLD' OPTION. Thank you for your help....

All I want is to keep track of 2 tenants monthly rent and electric bill. The tenants pay sporadically if at all. I started renting about a year ago so I also want to input that info. When I create a new invoice I want it to include past due amounts. I downloaded Zipbooks and played with it all day and even tho it has reoccurring profiles it doesn't keep a running tab. Do you know of a program that would do these simple tasks that doesn't have to be linked to a bank account? Oh please, I hope so! Thank you.

For future travelers: that color number is not an ASCII code, it's a hex code. You can just Google "color picker," and it will give you a color wheel you can play with. Once you get something you like, it'll have a hex value you can copy/paste.

If you own a business and need reliable phone service. This isn't the company. I had Grasshopper and the customer said my line was busy. Missed calls and caller ID 90% of the time said spam when it wasn't. Customer service is a dumpster fire. Had to switch. Going cheap will cost you in the long run....

Another stupid video who does not talk about inventory management

This is so limiting. Square doesn't seem to provide an option for deducting/reflecting amounts like in-person deposit payments. The only deduction option is discount and I don't want to show a deposit paid as a discount. I typically meet with a potential client in person; they may at that meeting decide to book our services and pay the date hold deposit by check, credit card or cash. When sending an invoice for the balance, there is no way to reflect what they have already paid other than to just make a note of it in the message section. That's not a good way of doing that. It needs to be shown in the totals.

Very informative. I need to adjust. We are 501c3 so exempt from FUTA. I assume we just set FUTA rate to 0. I also have an employee who is clergy hence exempt from any withholding so I also assume I set his percentages to 0. Most employees are monthly and don't get paid enough for WH or IFCA so they only have Medicare. Does the spread sheet check for minimum pay before applying percentages to WH? Also I have one employee who has an annual salary but also has extra income on an hourly rate for another job funciton. How to I handle this. Finally I have someone who gets payed every four weeks but the payroll period does not line up with standard months. Any help on any of these would be helpful.
